R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Yanet Andablo has distinguished herself in her |
|
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
Representative Jessica González during the 89th Legislative |
|
Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Andablo has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
including managing social media communications and helping analyze |
|
legislation; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|
field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; she |
|
also supported the Texas House LGBTQ Caucus and offered mentorship |
|
to staffers in other offices; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Guntersville, Alabama, Ms. Andablo |
|
graduated from Berea College in Kentucky with a bachelor's degree |
|
in political science and a minor in law, ethics, and society; she |
|
plans to attend law school and pursue a career in criminal defense; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Yanet Andablo has performed her duties as a |
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Yanet Andablo for her service as a |
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Jessica |
|
González and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Andablo as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
