R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Claudia Salinas has ably served her fellow Texans as
  engagement director and policy advisor in the office of State
  Representative Trey Martinez Fischer during the 89th Legislature;
  and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Salinas's resourcefulness and initiative have
  earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to
  carrying forth Representative Martinez Fischer's legislative
  agenda have helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone
  Star State; known for her positive spirit, she has made the office
  an enjoyable and welcoming place for visitors and staff alike; in
  the course of her duties, she has planned a variety of special
  events, including influencer gatherings, town halls, and dinners
  for members, and she has engaged with local, state, and federal
  elected officials on the representative's behalf; she has also
  played an important role in policy issues specific to San Antonio,
  including film incentives and legislation affecting the Alamo, as
  well as other public policy matters; and
         WHEREAS, A native of Brownsville, Ms. Salinas earned a
  bachelor's degree in English literature from Texas State
  University; since 2021, she has managed the kidney care state
  government affairs advocacy program at DaVita, building support for
  dialysis policy objectives and promoting grassroots engagement
  with elected officials; previously, she completed a nearly
  three-year tenure with the company as a political action committee
  manager based in Washington, D.C.; she has also held positions with
  the Financial Services Institute, USAA, and Fiat Chrysler
  Automobiles, and she has been involved with political campaigns at
  the local, state, and federal levels; moreover, she is a member of
  the Brackenridge Park Conservancy Board of Directors and serves as
  community events chair for the organization's marketing and
  community relations committee; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
  duties as engagement director and policy advisor with skill and
  dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for
  her fine work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Claudia Salinas for her service as
  engagement director and policy advisor in the office of State
  Representative Trey Martinez Fischer and extend to her sincere best
  wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Salinas as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
