R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Madison Alvarez has ably served her fellow Texans as
  a policy advisor in the office of State Representative Trey
  Martinez Fischer during the 89th Legislature; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Alvarez has played an
  instrumental role in numerous projects, with a focus on the
  Culture, Recreation, and Tourism Committee as well as the Ways and
  Means Committee; her policy recommendations have been invaluable in
  helping shape Representative Martinez Fischer's legislative
  agenda, and she has earned the respect and appreciation of her
  colleagues for her expertise, kindness, and patience; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Alvarez has brought to her role a wealth of
  experience in public service and advocacy; she previously served as
  a Barbara Harlow intern at the Rapoport Center for Human Rights and
  Social Justice, and she also held internships with the City of
  Austin and Texas Book Festival; during the 88th Legislature, she
  served as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative
  Nicole Collier; she is a 2025 graduate of The University of Texas at
  Austin, where she earned a bachelor's degree in advertising with a
  minor in business and public policy and a certificate in human
  rights and social justice; and
         WHEREAS, Madison Alvarez has performed her duties as a policy
  advisor with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of
  special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Madison Alvarez for her service as a
  policy advisor in the office of State Representative Trey Martinez
  Fischer and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Alvarez as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
