R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Honorable Byron Sanders was elected as the |
|
|
District 5 representative on the Dallas Independent School District |
|
|
Board of Trustees on May 3, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In carrying out the responsibilities of his office, |
|
|
Mr. Sanders will be joining with the other members of the school |
|
|
board to address urgent issues facing the Dallas ISD community, and |
|
|
his work will have a lasting influence on the lives of the |
|
|
district's students, faculty, and staff; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The essential mission of educating young Texans |
|
|
depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our school board |
|
|
trustees, and Byron Sanders will draw on his insight and experience |
|
|
as he takes on this challenging new role; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Honorable Byron Sanders on his |
|
|
election to the Dallas Independent School District Board of |
|
|
Trustees and extend to him sincere best wishes for a successful term |
|
|
in office; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sanders as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
