R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cara Mendelsohn was reelected as the District 12 |
|
|
representative on the Dallas City Council on May 3, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since first taking office in 2021, Ms. Mendelsohn |
|
|
has joined with other members of the city council to address urgent |
|
|
issues facing the community, and her work has had a lasting |
|
|
influence on the daily lives of her fellow citizens; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The effective operation of municipal government |
|
|
depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our public servants, |
|
|
and Cara Mendelsohn may indeed take pride in her outstanding record |
|
|
of achievement as she continues to work on behalf of her |
|
|
constituents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cara Mendelsohn on her reelection |
|
|
to the Dallas City Council and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
another successful term in office; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Mendelsohn as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
