R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jesse Moreno was reelected as the District 2 |
|
|
representative on the Dallas City Council on May 3, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since first taking office in 2021, Mr. Moreno has |
|
|
joined with other members of the city council to address urgent |
|
|
issues facing the community, and his work has had a lasting |
|
|
influence on the daily lives of his fellow citizens; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The effective operation of municipal government |
|
|
depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our public servants, |
|
|
and Jesse Moreno may indeed take pride in his outstanding record of |
|
|
achievement as he continues to work on behalf of his constituents; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jesse Moreno on his reelection to |
|
|
the Dallas City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
another successful term in office; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Moreno as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
