R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Garrett Strittmatter has distinguished himself in |
|
|
his responsibilities as a policy analyst in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Joanne Shofner during the 89th Legislative Session; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Strittmatter has |
|
|
provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |
|
|
tasks, including helping with Representative Shofner's higher |
|
|
education policy portfolio; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about |
|
|
the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone |
|
|
Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Strittmatter is a graduate of Southwest |
|
|
Christian School in Fort Worth; he earned his bachelor's degree in |
|
|
political science from Samford University in Alabama, where he |
|
|
previously worked in the office of U.S. Senator Katie Britt and as a |
|
|
legislative intern for U.S. Representative Gary Palmer; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Garrett Strittmatter has performed his duties as a |
|
|
policy analyst with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Garrett Strittmatter for his service as |
|
|
a policy analyst in the office of State Representative Joanne |
|
|
Shofner and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Strittmatter as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
