R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Samantha Sandoval has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Janie Lopez during the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through The University of |
|
|
Texas Rio Grande Valley Legislative Internship Program, |
|
|
Ms. Sandoval has provided vital assistance in handling a wide |
|
|
variety of challenging tasks; a political science major, she has |
|
|
assisted with public relations for House District 37 and helped |
|
|
research legislation pertaining to the UTRGV School of Podiatric |
|
|
Medicine; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field |
|
|
of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Samantha Sandoval has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Samantha Sandoval for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Janie |
|
|
Lopez and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Sandoval as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
