R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ramon Santos Jr. has distinguished himself in his |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Janie Lopez during the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Santos has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including managing rider requests for House District 37 and working |
|
|
to support legislation that benefits local residents; in addition |
|
|
to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he |
|
|
has learned more about the legislative process and the issues |
|
|
facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Santos holds a bachelor's degree in political |
|
|
science and government from The University of Texas Rio Grande |
|
|
Valley and is currently pursuing a juris doctor degree; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ramon Santos has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Ramon Santos Jr. for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Janie |
|
|
Lopez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Santos as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
