R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Mr. Craddick, the longest-serving member in the
  history of the Texas Legislature, and Mrs. Craddick have championed
  policies that enhance educational opportunities for aspiring
  physician assistants and that strengthen the profession overall;
  and
         WHEREAS, Recognizing the growing need for highly trained
  medical professionals, Mr. Craddick played a pivotal role in the
  passage of legislation that expands access to health care and in
  securing state funding to expand the Physician Assistant Studies
  Program at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School
  of Health Professions; and
         WHEREAS, In recognition of Mr. and Mrs. Craddick's enduring
  commitment to health care education and the physician assistant
  profession, Texas Tech Health Sciences Center renamed the program
  the Nadine and Tom Craddick Physician Assistant Studies Program in
  October 2024; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend State Representative Tom Craddick and
  Nadine Craddick for their contributions to the physician assistant
  profession and health care education in Texas; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Craddick as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
