R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Adrian Cornejo has distinguished himself in his |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Toni Rose during the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Cornejo has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
such as conducting legislative research and policy analysis, |
|
|
attending committee hearings, and communicating with constituents |
|
|
and stakeholders; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|
|
field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative |
|
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Cornejo is a junior at Texas State University, |
|
|
where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science and |
|
|
has been named to the dean's and president's lists; over the years, |
|
|
he has served as a delegate to the Texas A&M University MSC Student |
|
|
Conference on National Affairs and as a writer and head of internal |
|
|
relations for a media organization that provides in-depth coverage |
|
|
of global conflicts; he has also worked as a legal assistant for the |
|
|
Guerrero Law Offices in Dallas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Adrian Cornejo has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Adrian Cornejo for his service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Toni Rose |
|
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Cornejo as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
