R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Joseph Frausto has distinguished himself in his |
|
|
responsibilities as a policy analyst in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Toni Rose during the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Frausto has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Frausto holds a bachelor's degree in political |
|
|
science magna cum laude from St. Mary's University, and he is |
|
|
currently working toward a master's degree in public affairs at the |
|
|
Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of |
|
|
Texas at Austin; while completing his undergraduate degree, he was |
|
|
recognized on the Dean's Honor List and was also a member of the Pi |
|
|
Sigma Alpha national political science honor society; moreover, he |
|
|
previously served as a court clerk for Bexar County Justice of the |
|
|
Peace Precinct 1, as an intern in the district office of U.S. |
|
|
Representative Joaquin Castro, and as a canvasser for the Jessica |
|
|
Cisneros congressional campaign; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joseph Frausto has performed his duties as a policy |
|
|
analyst with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of |
|
|
special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Joseph Frausto for his service as a |
|
|
policy analyst in the office of State Representative Toni Rose and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Frausto as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
