R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kate Tucker has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Rafael Anchía during the 89th Legislative Session; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Tucker has provided |
|
|
vital support in all policy areas, and she has handled a wide |
|
|
variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, she has learned more |
|
|
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|
|
Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Tucker is a student at The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in interpersonal |
|
|
communications with a minor in law, justice, and society and has |
|
|
earned placement on the dean's list; engaged in her campus |
|
|
community, she is an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha, serving the |
|
|
organization as vice president of facility operations and |
|
|
membership enrichment chair; since September 2023, she has been |
|
|
employed as a consultant with the Schmit Law Firm; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Kate Tucker has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Kate Tucker for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Rafael |
|
|
Anchía and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Tucker as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
