R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ross Video received a NAB Show Project of the Year |
|
|
Award in the production category on April 8, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Part of the National Association of Broadcasters |
|
|
convention in Las Vegas, the Project of the Year Awards is a new |
|
|
program designed to spotlight the most ambitious and impactful |
|
|
projects across the media and entertainment industry; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Ross |
|
|
Video was recognized at the NAB Show for its work with Nelco Media |
|
|
and the Texas House of Representatives in delivering a multiroom |
|
|
broadcast solution; the project involved implementing a smart, |
|
|
scalable system to update the main chamber and 16 committee rooms to |
|
|
comply with state requirements for legislative recording; as a |
|
|
result of the upgrades, the House has been able to simplify complex |
|
|
workflows and increase access to important government proceedings; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through its collaboration with the House and Nelco |
|
|
Media, Ross Video has helped to redefine the future of legislative |
|
|
production and broadcasting, and it is indeed deserving of |
|
|
recognition at this time; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ross Video on receiving a 2025 NAB |
|
|
Show Project of the Year Award and extend to all those associated |
|
|
with the company sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ross Video as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
