A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the jurisdiction of certain international |
|
|
organizations. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Title 1, Government Code, is amended by adding |
|
|
Chapter 3 to read as follows: |
|
|
CHAPTER 3. INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS |
|
|
Sec. 3.001. LIMITATION ON JURISDICTION OF CERTAIN |
|
|
INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS. (a) The World Health Organization, |
|
|
the United Nations, and the World Economic Forum have no |
|
|
jurisdiction in this state. |
|
|
(b) Notwithstanding any other law, a rule, fee, tax, policy, |
|
|
or mandate of the World Health Organization, the United Nations, or |
|
|
the World Economic Forum may not be enforced or implemented by this |
|
|
state or a political subdivision of this state. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
