A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to accessibility of certain forms the Department of State |
|
|
Health Services provides for public use. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 12, Health and Safety |
|
|
Code, is amended by adding Section 12.021 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 12.021. ACCESSIBILITY OF FORMS FOR PUBLIC USE. The |
|
|
department shall ensure all forms developed under the department's |
|
|
authority and intended for public use are conspicuously posted and |
|
|
readily accessible to the public on the department's Internet |
|
|
website. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
