A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to publication by the Texas Board of Nursing and the Texas |
|
|
Higher Education Coordinating Board of certain nursing education |
|
|
data. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 61, Education Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 61.09013 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 61.09013. PUBLICATION OF NURSING EDUCATION REPORTS. |
|
|
The board shall post prominently on the home page of the board's |
|
|
Internet website a link to the most recent nursing education |
|
|
reports produced by the Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Subchapter D, Chapter 301, Occupations Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 301.1585 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 301.1585. PUBLICATION OF NURSING EDUCATION REPORTS. |
|
|
The board shall post prominently on the home page of the board's |
|
|
Internet website a link to the most recent nursing education |
|
|
reports produced by the Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect December 31, 2025. |
