| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 38.002, Civil Practice and Remedies | ||
| Code, is amended by adding: | ||
| (4) the claimant must disclose if their attorney | ||
| received compensation from another party to represent them in this | ||
| civil action. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. | ||
