SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Human beings are born male or female, with such
biological identity being immutable and innate; and
WHEREAS, Even in our great state, ideologues put forth a
false narrative that denies this fundamental truth, using lawfare,
coercion, and fear to deny women the rights and protections to which
  they are entitled; and
WHEREAS, Across the country, such falsehoods have allowed men
to self-identify as women and enter spaces designed for the
protection of women, such as women's shelters and women's
  bathrooms; and
WHEREAS, Sex is an immutable characteristic that can be
readily identified, and attacks on the definition of sex are
  baseless; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the 89th Legislature of the State of Texas, That
it is the policy of the state to recognize two sexes, male and
  female; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the State of Texas will defend women's rights
by using clear and accurate language and policies recognizing that
women are biologically female and men are biologically male.
