SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 25
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize the Impact Center of Arlington in honor of its grand |
|
|
reopening; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 2021, the Impact |
|
|
Center of Arlington has served as a cornerstone of support for |
|
|
youth and adults by providing a diverse array of programs and |
|
|
services focused on entrepreneurship training, economic |
|
|
empowerment, adult literacy, civic engagement, and health and |
|
|
wellness; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The grand reopening marks the completion of |
|
|
significant enhancements to the facility, which will enable the |
|
|
Impact Center to expand its capacity to address the growing needs |
|
|
of the East Arlington community; the center's comprehensive |
|
|
approach to public service includes education and career |
|
|
programs, food services, re-entry assistance, sports leagues, |
|
|
disaster relief efforts, and other initiatives tailored to build |
|
|
stronger and more resilient neighborhoods; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The center's grand reopening highlights the |
|
|
importance of collective efforts to create opportunities and |
|
|
lasting solutions and serves as a testament to the center's |
|
|
enduring commitment to making a positive and lasting difference |
|
|
in the lives of Texas residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby recognize the Impact Center of Arlington on |
|
|
the occasion of its grand reopening and extend to all in |
|
|
attendance best wishes for a memorable event and for continued |
|
|
success in their meaningful work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
the Impact Center of Arlington as an expression of esteem from |
|
|
the Texas Senate. |
