SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 76

WHEREAS, Members of NAIFA-Texas are gathering at the State Capitol from February 10 to 12, 2025, and this occasion provides an ideal opportunity to congratulate the organization on its 100th anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Founded in 1925 as the Texas Association of Life Underwriters, NAIFA-Texas advocates for the business interests of more than 1,300 members across the state; a chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, it promotes ethical conduct and helps professionals enhance their skills; and

WHEREAS, Over the course of a century, NAIFA-Texas has worked tirelessly on behalf of thousands of insurance and financial service professionals and served as an important voice for consumers, and this esteemed organization is indeed worthy of recognition for its contributions; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th Legislature, hereby commemorate the centennial of NAIFA-Texas and extend to its members sincere best wishes for an enjoyable and productive visit to Austin; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for the association as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
