R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of NAIFA-Texas are gathering at the State |
|
|
Capitol from February 10 to 12, 2025, and this occasion provides an |
|
|
ideal opportunity to congratulate the organization on its 100th |
|
|
anniversary; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 1925 as the Texas Association of Life |
|
|
Underwriters, NAIFA-Texas advocates for the business interests of |
|
|
more than 1,300 members across the state; a chapter of the National |
|
|
Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, it promotes |
|
|
ethical conduct and helps professionals enhance their skills; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of a century, NAIFA-Texas has worked |
|
|
tirelessly on behalf of thousands of insurance and financial |
|
|
service professionals and served as an important voice for |
|
|
consumers, and this esteemed organization is indeed worthy of |
|
|
recognition for its contributions; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby commemorate the centennial of NAIFA-Texas and extend to its |
|
|
members sincere best wishes for an enjoyable and productive visit |
|
|
to Austin; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the association as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
