SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 86
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Starr County Memorial Hospital on the grand occasion of
  its 50th anniversary; and
         WHEREAS, Since its founding in 1975, Starr County Memorial
  Hospital has been a cornerstone of health care in South Texas;
  the hospital has provided area residents with life-saving
  emergency services, preventative care, and health education
  programs while also serving as an essential provider during such
  times of crisis as natural disasters and public health
  emergencies; and
         WHEREAS, Over the last five decades, the hospital has
  evolved continually to meet the growing and diverse needs of the
  region's population by expanding its facilities, adopting
  advanced medical technologies, and offering a wide range of
  specialized services to ensure comprehensive care for its
  patients; and
         WHEREAS, The hospital's success is a testament to the hard
  work and dedication of its physicians, nurses, staff, and
  administrators, whose collective efforts have made a lasting
  impact on the well-being of countless individuals and families
  throughout the community; and
         WHEREAS, The Starr County Memorial Hospital serves as a
  symbol of resilience and compassion, and its enduring legacy of
  care in the community continues to inspire confidence and trust
  among the people it serves; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby commend Starr County Memorial Hospital on 50
  years of service to the South Texas community and extend to all
  associated with the hospital sincere best wishes for continued
  success in the years ahead; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
  honor of this special occasion.
