SENATE RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Harmony Public Schools is celebrating the 25th
  anniversary of its founding in 2025, providing a fitting
  opportunity to recognize this expansive charter school system
  for providing high-quality, STEM-centered education to numerous
  young Texans; and
         WHEREAS, In 2000, Harmony Public Schools opened its first
  campus in Houston, and today, there are more than 60 locations in
  seven districts across the state; Harmony provides students with
  a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes science, technology,
  engineering, and math in a caring and collaborative environment;
  its educators are committed to ensuring that youth have the
  skills they need to excel in college and to become productive
  members of their communities; and
         WHEREAS, Over the years, the Harmony Public Schools system
  has developed a robust partner network that includes curriculum
  providers, IBC Certification organizations, STEM competition
  coalitions, professional learning companies, and equipment
  suppliers; moreover, Harmony has established makerspaces
  equipped with prototyping tools such as 3D printers, laser
  cutters, and CNC machines; and
         WHEREAS, For a quarter century, the faculty, staff, and
  administrators of Harmony Public Schools have dedicated
  themselves to meeting the educational needs of their students,
  and the school system has played a vital role in helping many
  young Texans build a bright and fulfilling future; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
  hereby commemorate the 25th anniversary of Harmony Public
  Schools and extend to all those associated with the school system
  sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Harmony Public Schools as an expression of high
  regard by the Texas Senate.
