SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 96
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the state's certified registered nurse anesthetists in
  honor of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists Week in Texas,
  which took place January 19 through 25, 2025; and
 
         WHEREAS, Certified registered nurse anesthetists are
  advanced practice registered nurses who play an essential role in
  our health care system; they are the primary providers of
  anesthesia in rural and underserved areas in Texas and to United
  States military personnel; and
 
         WHEREAS, With extensive experience in critical care
  nursing and anesthesia care, nurse anesthetists practice in a
  broad spectrum of medical settings; they are qualified to make
  independent judgments regarding all aspects of anesthesia, and
  their expertise is a vital element of care in traditional
  operating rooms, general practice offices, and specialty
  clinics; and
 
         WHEREAS, Texas is proud to pay tribute to these trusted
  health care professionals who have devoted their careers to
  providing safe and compassionate care to all patients, and it is
  indeed fitting that CRNA Week be recognized in honor of their
  many contributions to the health and well-being of Texans; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby commend all who serve as certified
  registered nurse anesthetists in Texas for the important role
  they play in the provision of quality health care; and, be it
  further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
  honor of these dedicated health care specialists.
