SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 207
         WHEREAS, Representatives of the Texas Prevention Network
  are visiting the State Capitol on March 6, 2025; and
 
         WHEREAS, Established by TexProtects in 2012, the Texas
  Prevention Network serves as a collaboration platform for
  organizations that strive to prevent child abuse and neglect; the
  network facilitates peer-to-peer connections and resource
  sharing, hosts educational sessions, and disseminates updates
  from state agencies and other groups engaged in this work; and
 
         WHEREAS, The Texas Prevention Network is made up of more
  than 250 direct service providers from across the state; all of
  the providers and affiliated programs work toward the common goal
  of supporting families in order to keep them safe, healthy,
  together, and self-sufficient; and
 
         WHEREAS, Among the organizations participating in Texas
  Prevention Network Day are Hope Cottage, Any Baby Can, Parents as
  Teachers, Buckner International, Presbyterian Children's Homes
  and Services, and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas; and
 
         WHEREAS, For more than a decade, the Texas Prevention
  Network has served as an important resource for those working
  to protect the state's most vulnerable population, and it is
  indeed deserving of recognition for its contributions to the
  well-being of countless young Texans and their families; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby recognize March 6, 2025, as Texas Prevention
  Network Day at the State Capitol and extend a warm welcome to the
  visiting delegation.
