Ulises Nicolas Vargas |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|
|
commemorates the life of Ulises Nicolas Vargas, who died January |
|
|
11, 2025, at the age of 21; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant and a treasured |
|
|
member of the Laredo community, Ulises was born to Mario and |
|
|
Laura Vargas on May 14, 2003; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed young man's integrity, |
|
|
selflessness, and sincere concern for his fellow citizens led him |
|
|
to pursue a rewarding career with the Texas Highway Patrol; his |
|
|
professionalism and service reflected the highest standards of |
|
|
law enforcement, and he demonstrated great talent in his |
|
|
fulfillment of the unique and challenging responsibilities of |
|
|
being a state trooper; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ulises enriched the lives of all who knew him |
|
|
through his joyful spirit, his boundless generosity, and his |
|
|
compassion and care for his loved ones; the influence of his |
|
|
positivity, warmth, and friendly nature will be missed dearly by |
|
|
his brothers, Mario and Estevan, his nephew, his cousins, and his |
|
|
many other loving relatives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ulises was beloved by his friends and his family, |
|
|
and his dependability, his kindness, and his ability to foster |
|
|
genuine connection with those around him have left a positive and |
|
|
lasting impact in the lives of countless others; his memory will |
|
|
be cherished by his fellow officers and the people of Laredo and |
|
|
by all who were privileged to know him and to share in his life; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|
|
family of Ulises Nicolas Vargas; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
|
Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
|
memory of Ulises Vargas. |
