R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Shaye and Chris Kopec are celebrating |
|
|
their 37th wedding anniversary on March 12, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Chris Kopec and the former Shaye Wilbanks were |
|
|
united in matrimony in 1988, and they are further bonded by their |
|
|
deep connection to their Christian beliefs; over the years, their |
|
|
family has grown to include two sons, Zachary and Alexander and his |
|
|
wife, Katie; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Kopec |
|
|
serves as the director of environmental health and safety at |
|
|
Siemens, and Mrs. Kopec is a senior associate at Rebecca Creek |
|
|
Elementary School; during their leisure time, they enjoy going on |
|
|
vacations to Los Cabos, Mexico; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past 37 |
|
|
years, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|
|
their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love has |
|
|
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|
|
and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby congratulate Shaye and Chris Kopec on their 37th wedding |
|
|
anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kopec as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas Senate. |
