R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
WHEREAS, The annual Bear Bottom BBQ Bash and Cook-Off is |
|
|
taking place in Marshall on September 19 and 20, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sanctioned by the Outlaw BBQ Association as one of |
|
|
the organization's state championship cook-offs, this |
|
|
much-anticipated event attracts talented chefs from across Texas |
|
|
and beyond; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These highly skilled pitmasters are putting their |
|
|
culinary abilities to the test as they vie to produce the tastiest |
|
|
entries in several different categories, including brisket, pork |
|
|
spareribs, and chicken; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A fun occasion for all ages, the Bear Bottom BBQ Bash |
|
|
and Cook-Off is a fitting celebration of the delectable fare that is |
|
|
such an integral part of Texas culture, and it promises to be a |
|
|
source of fond memories for all who attend; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby commemorate the 2025 Bear Bottom BBQ Bash and Cook-Off and |
|
|
extend to the organizers, contestants, and attendees sincere best |
|
|
wishes for a fun and successful event. |
