SENATE RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the Texas Association of Museums in honor of its 50th
  anniversary; and
         WHEREAS, Since its founding, the Texas Association of
  Museums has strengthened the Texas museum community through
  collaboration, professional development, and advocacy; and
         WHEREAS, In celebration of this milestone, the association
  is hosting its 50th annual meeting under the theme "Bridging the
  Past and Future"; the gathering is curated to foster
  collaboration, build partnerships, and explore visionary
  approaches to preserving and interpreting Texas' rich heritage;
  and
         WHEREAS, The association's annual meeting draws hundreds
  of museum professionals, historians, educators, and enthusiasts
  from across the state and provides an invaluable forum to examine
  best practices, emerging trends, and innovative strategies in
  the field of museology; and
         WHEREAS, Museums, gardens, zoos, and archives throughout
  Texas play a vital role in preserving our shared history,
  celebrating cultural diversity, and inspiring curiosity,
  creativity, and lifelong learning for Texans of all ages and
  backgrounds; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby commemorate the 50th anniversary of the
  Texas Association of Museums and extend to its members and all in
  attendance best wishes for a memorable gathering and for
  continued success in their endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the Texas Association of Museums as an expression of esteem from
  the Texas Senate.
