SENATE RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize the members of the spring 2025 intern cohort of Dean |
|
|
Senator Judith Zaffirini for their outstanding service to her |
|
|
office during the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of this cohort are Adithi Rallapalli, |
|
|
Anthony Hernandez, Arvin Prativadi, Bryan Simmons, David Perez, |
|
|
Julia Heck, Kayla Price, Mark Luo, Montserrat Rocha, Olivia |
|
|
Gonzalez, Patrick Bowen, Paulina King Benitez, Rhea Nijjar, |
|
|
Robin Aguilar, Stephany Bauer, Sydney Camilletti, and Victoria |
|
|
Fulton, and these exemplary interns have exhibited remarkable |
|
|
dedication and professionalism in the performance of their |
|
|
duties and a strong commitment to public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cohort members support Dean Senator Zaffirini's |
|
|
staff, including Chief of Staff Jorge Ramirez and other team |
|
|
members, by completing extensive legislative research, |
|
|
constituent outreach, and a variety of administrative tasks that |
|
|
directly contribute to the office's success throughout the |
|
|
session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These interns are welcomed as members of the |
|
|
Dean's Team as professionals and are expected to meet the same |
|
|
standards of professionalism and excellence as her Senate staff; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 2025 Legislative Session, interns |
|
|
deepen their understanding of legislative processes and gain |
|
|
valuable experience that will help them to succeed in their |
|
|
future careers, and they are indeed deserving of special |
|
|
recognition for carrying out the responsibilities of their roles |
|
|
with great skill and diligence; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby commend the members of Dean Senator |
|
|
Zaffirini's spring 2025 intern cohort for their valuable |
|
|
contributions to the Texas Senate and the office of Dean Senator |
|
|
Zaffirini and extend to them best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
their future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
