SENATE RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the members of the Ronald Reagan High School Junior
  Reserve Officers' Training Corps drill team for their
  outstanding performances at two 2025 national championship
  competitions; and
         WHEREAS, These exceptional drill team members were
  victorious in their recent appearances in Daytona Beach,
  Florida, where they earned first overall in the Armed Category
  and third overall in the Unarmed Category at the United States
  Army Cadet Command National Junior Reserve Officers' Training
  Corps Drill Championships on May 2; in addition, the team earned
  high marks in the Armed Category and was runner-up for the
  National Overall Championship at the All-Service Nationals on
  May 3 and 4, where they also placed first in In-Ranks Inspection
  and in Exhibition Drill in the Unarmed Category; and
         WHEREAS, Team members were prepared for a rigorous series
  of tests and earned top honors in multiple events during the
  three days of competition; the dedicated members of the drill
  team demonstrated great talent and perseverance throughout the
  school year to be at their peak performance levels and to ensure
  they represented their school with honor, and they are truly
  deserving of special recognition for their remarkable
  achievements; and
         WHEREAS, Ronald Reagan High School is proud of the Junior
  Reserve Officers' Training Corps drill team for their hard work,
  their impressive skills, and their exceptional sportsmanship;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Ronald Reagan High
  School Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps drill team on
  their impressive accomplishments at the 2025 national
  championship competitions and extend to all best wishes for
  continued success in their future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the team as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
