R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sabah Pirali of Girl Scout Troop No. 4930 has
  attained the Girl Scout Gold Award, and this accomplishment truly
  merits recognition; and
         WHEREAS, To earn this distinction, Ms. Pirali demonstrated
  creativity, initiative, and leadership in completing a Take Action
  project that has resulted in lasting and positive change;
  recognizing the challenges faced by individuals with dementia, she
  researched the benefits of sensory items and created fidget
  blankets that engage the senses and provide tactile stimulation;
  she donated the blankets to local elderly homes, and she also helped
  to raise awareness about the importance of sensory engagement for
  dementia patients by sharing information through websites,
  brochures, and social media; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Pirali has further distinguished herself as a
  member of the Class of 2025 at Heritage High School in Frisco; and
         WHEREAS, By fostering self-confidence and by encouraging
  young women to explore educational and career opportunities and to
  become more socially conscious, the Girl Scout program is helping
  its participants to achieve their greatest potential as engaged
  citizens and leaders; and
         WHEREAS, The maturity and dedication that Ms. Pirali has
  demonstrated in pursuit of her goals truly exemplify the highest
  ideals of the Girl Scouts, and she may reflect with pride on a job
  well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
  hereby congratulate Sabah Pirali on her receipt of the Girl Scout
  Gold Award and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success and happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Pirali as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  Senate.
