SENATE RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|
|
commemorates the life of Blaine Hal Bull, who died April 19, |
|
|
2025, at the age of 68; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born April 12, 1957, in Bainbridge, Maryland, |
|
|
Blaine grew up in Houston and earned a bachelor's degree at Texas |
|
|
A&M University; while earning a master's degree from the Lyndon |
|
|
B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin, he met the love of his life, Myra; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Blaine gained professional esteem as a campaign |
|
|
manager and legislative director for United States Senator Lloyd |
|
|
Bentsen; he went on to become a founding officer and shareowner |
|
|
of Austin-based Public Strategies, where he managed dozens of |
|
|
major corporate campaigns and mergers; he cofounded Vianovo in |
|
|
2005, and he guided the success of the firm for nearly two |
|
|
decades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Blaine and Myra shared a joyful union during |
|
|
their 42 years of marriage, and he was a loving father and |
|
|
unwavering source of support to their three children, |
|
|
Christopher, Matthew, and Taylor; he cherished time spent |
|
|
traveling together to visit extended family, and his two |
|
|
grandchildren, Hayden and Rylan, enriched his life immeasurably; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Blaine Bull was a cherished husband, father, and |
|
|
grandfather and a beloved friend to many, and he will long be |
|
|
remembered with admiration and appreciation by all who were |
|
|
privileged to share in his life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|
|
family of Blaine Hal Bull; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
|
Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
|
memory of Blaine Bull. |
