SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 617

WHEREAS, Kayla Castaneda has distinguished herself in her responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent Hagenbuch during the 89th Legislative Session; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the legislative internship program at the Texas Woman's University Center for Women in Government, Ms. Castaneda has demonstrated a strong work ethic and great professionalism in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, Kayla Castaneda has performed her duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th Legislature, hereby commend Kayla Castaneda for her service as a legislative intern in the office of State Senator Brent Hagenbuch and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for Ms. Castaneda as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
