R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Benjamin Aguillon of San Antonio has distinguished
  himself in his responsibilities as a policy specialist in the
  office of State Senator Roland Gutierrez during the
  89th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ben Aguillon has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  such as working on amendments and supporting the Senate Committee
  on Water, Agriculture, and Rural Affairs; in addition to gaining
  valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned
  more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
  of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, An alumnus of Central Catholic High School in
  San Antonio, Mr. Aguillon currently attends The University of
  Texas at Austin, where he is majoring in government, philosophy,
  and Plan II Honors with a minor in Spanish; he has served his campus
  community as a peer mentor, student government leader, and Texas
  Civic Ambassador, and he has further distinguished himself as a
  J. J. Pickle Undergraduate Research Fellow and a member of the
  Beevo Beekeeping Society; previously, he completed internships in
  the office of State Senator José Menéndez as well as with the City
  of San Antonio and the U.S. House of Representatives; this summer,
  he will be interning with the Bexar County District Attorney's
  Office; and
         WHEREAS, Ben Aguillon has performed his duties as a policy
  specialist with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of
  special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
  hereby commend Benjamin Aguillon for his service as a policy
  specialist in the office of State Senator Roland Gutierrez and
  extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Aguillon as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas Senate.
