R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Galen College of Nursing is celebrating the grand |
|
|
opening of its new campus in San Antonio on May 27, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A top provider in the San Antonio Ready to Work |
|
|
training program, Galen College of Nursing currently operates 22 |
|
|
campuses nationwide; its San Antonio location opened its doors in |
|
|
early April and serves more than 2,200 students, helping to meet the |
|
|
increasing demand for nursing professionals in San Antonio, Bexar |
|
|
County, and Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The five-story facility spans 157,000 square feet |
|
|
and features interactive learning classrooms, clinical learning |
|
|
labs, a simulation hospital, a café, and study spaces for students; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Galen College of Nursing has played an instrumental |
|
|
role in training the next generation of nursing professionals, and |
|
|
its new campus is sure to be an invaluable resource for area |
|
|
students; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby commemorate the grand opening of the Galen College of |
|
|
Nursing in San Antonio and extend to all those affiliated with the |
|
|
school sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the college as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas Senate. |
