R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their
  memories of Terry Parks Stadler of Tyler, who passed away on
  April 14, 2025, at the age of 75; and
         WHEREAS, Terry Stadler was born to Elmer and Sally Stadler on
  May 4, 1949, in Holdrege, Nebraska, and he grew up sharing in the
  companionship of his brother, Kent; a 1967 graduate of Holdrege
  High School, he continued his education at the University of
  Nebraska-Lincoln before earning a bachelor's degree from Kearney
  State College; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Stadler joined his father and brother at
  Claussen's Shoe Stores in Nebraska and managed the company's
  locations in Holdrege and Kearney; embarking on a second career in
  education, he taught at schools in Rialto, California, and Tyler,
  and he retired from the Whitehouse Independent School District in
  2014; and
         WHEREAS, In 1970, Mr. Stadler married Candy Anderson, and the
  couple became the proud parents of three children, Andy, Libby, and
  Phil; following his wife's passing in 1999, Mr. Stadler was
  fortunate enough to find love again with Faye Dollar, whom he wed in
  2007; with the passing years, he had the privilege of seeing his
  family grow to include five grandchildren, Paige, Grant, Danica,
  Gianna, and Trinity, three great-grandchildren, Maria, Ava, and
  Edwin, and a stepdaughter, Toni; and
         WHEREAS, A man of faith, Mr. Stadler was a valued congregant
  of Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Tyler; he enjoyed acting and
  singing, and he pursued a variety of hobbies in his later life,
  including bird-watching, gardening, and snorkeling; and
         WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Terry Stadler
  leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives are far
  richer for having known him, and he will always hold a treasured
  place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
  hereby pay tribute to the memory of Terry Parks Stadler and extend
  sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this
  day, it do so in memory of Terry Stadler.
