SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 661
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Barbara Love
 
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may help to comfort
  those saddened by the passing of Barbara Ruth Dulin Love of Tyler
  on March 26, 2025, at the age of 90; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Mary Norman and William Clay
  Dulin, the former Barbara Dulin was born on February 10, 1935, in
  Springfield, Missouri, and she was the youngest of five children;
  after graduating from Central High School, she attended Drury
  University, where she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha
  sorority; and
         WHEREAS, She married Dorsey Adam Love and the couple was
  blessed with three daughters, Julie, Lili, and Carolea; over the
  years, her cherished family grew to include 7 grandchildren,
  Katie, Adam, Rachel, Roxanne, Casey, Nicolas, and Cassidy, and 12
  great-grandchildren, William, Eleanor, Mason, Declan, Tucker,
  Nolan, Brady, Silas, Anastasia, Piper, Wyatt, and the late Faye
  Elizabeth Clingan; and
         WHEREAS, At the beginning of her career, Ms. Love held
  positions at Heer's Department Store and the Frisco Railroad; she
  was later a business owner, and her ventures included Dorsey Love
  and Associates, The Harem, and Love Travel; and
         WHEREAS, Engaged in her community, Ms. Love was involved
  in the American Field Service, and she served as president of the
  Guild of Springfield Little Theatre and as a volunteer for
  HomePlace at The Hospice of East Texas; in her leisure time, she
  enjoyed shopping, reading, and traveling, and she was known for
  her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor; a woman of faith, she
  was an active member of Marvin Methodist Church, where she served
  in the Stephen Ministry; above all else, she was a devoted mother
  to her children, "Grammy" to her grandchildren, and "Mimi" to her
  great-grandchildren, taking them on trips and supporting them in
  their various endeavors; and
         WHEREAS, Admired for her warmth, generosity, and
  adventurous spirit, Barbara Love brightened the world for all who
  knew her, and they will forever hold her close in their hearts;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Barbara Ruth
  Dulin Love and extend sincere condolences to her many relatives
  and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Barbara Love.
