SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 662
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Scott Duncan
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their
  memories of Scott Jackson Duncan of Corpus Christi, who passed
  away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 68; and
         WHEREAS, Scott Duncan was born to Dr. Laurence Lee Duncan
  and Jean Duncan on May 11, 1956, in Houston; growing up in
  Texarkana, he shared in the companionship of five siblings,
  Laurence Lee, Bryan, Mec, Amy, and Mathew; he attended Texas High
  School and went on to graduate from Centenary College of
  Louisiana and St. Mary's University School of Law; and
         WHEREAS, In the course of a successful career as an
  attorney, Mr. Duncan worked for the Porter, Rogers, Dahlman &
  Gordon law firm in Corpus Christi for 33 years and later served as
  general counsel for a number of prominent companies; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Duncan enjoyed the love
  and support of his wife, Gladys, and he took great pride in his
  children, Alison Smallwood Duncan and the late Jackson Kidd
  Duncan; and
         WHEREAS, Scott Duncan lived a life that was rich in
  personal and professional achievements, and he will forever be a
  source of inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Scott Jackson
  Duncan and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his
  passing; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Scott Duncan.
