R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Tory Charles Daniels of |
|
De Kalb were deeply saddened by his death on April 14, 2025, at the |
|
age of 52; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Charles and Eyvonne Daniels, Tory Daniels |
|
was born on October 27, 1972, in Texarkana, and he grew up with the |
|
companionship of a sister, Carla, and brother, Damon; and |
|
WHEREAS, In 1991, Mr. Daniels graduated from De Kalb High |
|
School, where he was active in several sports and played in the |
|
band; he went on to attend Southern Arkansas University and The |
|
University of Texas at Arlington before enlisting in the United |
|
States Army; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Tory Daniels will be deeply missed, he has |
|
left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will |
|
forever treasure; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature |
|
hereby pay tribute to the life of Tory Charles Daniels and extend |
|
sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his parents, |
|
Charles and Eyvonne Daniels; to his siblings, Carla and Damon; to |
|
his wife, Roni; to his daughters, Summer Prim and her husband, |
|
Jacori, and Bailey Black and her husband, Brandon; and to his other |
|
relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this |
|
day, it do so in memory of Tory Daniels. |
