SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 692

WHEREAS, The legislative interns in the office of State Senator José Menéndez have ably served their fellow citizens during the 89th Legislative Session; and

WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, these hardworking individuals have provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, they have learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and

WHEREAS, The members of this outstanding group include Abdullah Aslam, Andrew Martinez, Ethan Hernandez, Eric Draeger, Georgia Rocap, Ishan Kanaskar, Jackson Nichols, Leticia Torres, Meredith Sanchez, and Mikey Rush; and

WHEREAS, These public servants have performed their duties as legislative interns with skill and dedication, and they are indeed deserving of special recognition for their contributions to Senate District 26; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th Legislature, hereby commend the legislative interns in the office of State Senator José Menéndez for their service during the 89th Legislative Session and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success in all their endeavors; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That official copies of this Resolution be prepared for these exemplary public servants as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
