R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The legislative interns in the office of State |
|
|
Senator José Menéndez have ably served their fellow citizens during |
|
|
the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, these hardworking |
|
|
individuals have provided vital assistance in handling a wide |
|
|
variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, they have learned more |
|
|
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|
|
Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of this outstanding group include |
|
|
Abdullah Aslam, Andrew Martinez, Ethan Hernandez, Eric Draeger, |
|
|
Georgia Rocap, Ishan Kanaskar, Jackson Nichols, Leticia Torres, |
|
|
Meredith Sanchez, and Mikey Rush; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These public servants have performed their duties as |
|
|
legislative interns with skill and dedication, and they are indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for their contributions to Senate |
|
|
District 26; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature |
|
|
hereby commend the legislative interns in the office of State |
|
|
Senator José Menéndez for their service during the 89th Legislative |
|
|
Session and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all their endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for these exemplary public servants as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas Senate. |
