SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 699
         WHEREAS, The Sneaky Cleats Select Softball Club is
  celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding in 2025; and
 
         WHEREAS, Based in Tyler, Sneaky Cleats was established in
  2000 by Anthony and Gayla Springer as a six-and-under girls' T-ball
  team; the club later made the switch to fast-pitch softball, and
  today, it encompasses squads in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma; and
 
         WHEREAS, Through its exemplary work as a faith-based
  organization, Sneaky Cleats has provided instruction to hundreds of
  young female athletes, helping participants learn the fundamentals
  of the sport in a safe and competitive environment while fostering
  such important values as integrity, confidence, and good
  sportsmanship; dedicated to giving back to the community, the club
  holds an annual picnic for players and alumni, and its service
  initiatives include Thanksgiving turkey dinner giveaways, stuffed
  animal donations to the Tyler Police Department, and winter jacket
  donation drives for area youth; moreover, the group gives generously
  to worthy causes in the community; and
 
         WHEREAS, True to its mission, the Sneaky Cleats Select
  Softball Club has made a lasting and positive difference in the
  lives of countless young athletes, and it is indeed a pleasure to
  honor the organization on this special milestone in its history;
  now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sneaky
  Cleats Select Softball Club and extend to all those associated with
  the organization sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
  it further
 
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for Sneaky Cleats as an expression of high regard from the
  Texas Senate.
