SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 714
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Arturo Sanchez
 
         WHEREAS, A life lived with joy and enthusiasm drew to a
  close on May 24, 2025, with the passing of Arturo Eduardo Sanchez
  of San Antonio at the age of 55; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Celeste Zepeda Sanchez and Arturo
  Francisco Sanchez, Art Sanchez was born in San Benito on
  January 25, 1970, and he grew up with the companionship of two
  younger brothers, Carlos and Luis; he was a graduate of San
  Benito High School and The University of Texas at San Antonio;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Sanchez worked at USAA and Informatica over
  the course of a rewarding career, and he was often recognized for
  his skill and diligence; an Eagle Scout in his youth, he became a
  dedicated scout leader; he was also a sports enthusiast, and he
  enjoyed being outdoors; and
         WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to his family, Mr. Sanchez was the
  proud father of two children, Jasmine and Joshua, as well as two
  bonus children, Antonia and Jacob; with the passing years, his
  cherished family grew to include three grandchildren, Violet,
  Nicholas, and Noah; loyal, loving, and playful, he brightened the
  days of those around him with his signature jokes and puns; and
         WHEREAS, Art Sanchez possessed a generosity of spirit that
  expressed itself in myriad ways, and he enriched the lives of
  countless people with his warmth and kindness; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Arturo Eduardo
  Sanchez and extend deepest condolences to the members of his
  family: to his parents, Celeste Zepeda Sanchez and Arturo
  Francisco Sanchez; to his brothers, Carlos L. Sanchez and his
  wife, Carmen, and Luis M. Sanchez; to his children, Jasmine N.
  Sanchez and Joshua E. Sanchez; to his bonus children, Antonia
  and Jacob Aviles; to his grandchildren, Violet, Nicholas, and
  Noah; to his aunt and uncle, Olivia and Robert Rivas; to his
  nieces, Logan Medow and Lauren Sanchez; to his cousins, Larissa
  Leal and Anna Ramirez; and to his many other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Art Sanchez.
