No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require a county assessor-collector to post on the county's website certain information regarding the maintenance and operates (M&O) property taxes for each recapture school district in the county, and certain information regarding the M&O revenue for each non-recapture district in the county. The bill would also require the county assessor-collector to include with a resident's tax bill a statement that certain tax information for each recapture school district and each non-recapture school district in the county could be accessed at the county's website and provide the URL for that site.
