No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code relating to the estimate of costs of proposed amendments to the state constitution. It would require the Secretary of State (SOS) to estimate the anticipated cost of each proposed amendment should it be passed.
It is assumed that any costs to SOS related to the provisions of this bill could be the absorbed within existing resources.
