HB643 by Gervin-Hawkins (Relating to the requirement for payment bonds from certain public work contractors.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would increase the threshold of the contract dollar value above which a public work contractor would need to execute a payment bond, from $25,000 to $100,000. State agencies anticipate that any impacts from the bill, such as updating contracts, could be accomplished within existing resources.
