HB1097 by Toth (Relating to the duty of certain professionals to report child abuse or neglect.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add members of a board of directors, board of trustees, or other governing body of certain organizations and institutions to the list of professionals who are required to report child abuse or neglect with reasonable cause.

It is assumed that any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
