No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

There may be an impact to crisis services delivered by local governments if additional people are detained in a mental health facility. However, the fiscal implications of the bill to units of local government cannot be determined at this time.
